MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern men's soccer team dropped their SSC opener against Florida Tech on Saturday evening. Zyan Andrade and Alessandro Salvadego led the Sharks, scoring one goal each, en route to a 3-2 defeat against the Panthers.

The Panthers struck early, scoring the first goal of the match just before the first minute of the game.

Alessandro Salvadego scored his second goal of the season in the 18th minute (assisted by Santiago Marengo).

The Panthers came out aggressive in the second half scoring back-to-back goals in the 68th and 71st minute.

Zyan Andrade would answer with his own goal in the 81st minute (assisted by Liam Healey), bringing the Sharks deficit to one.
Despite the late push, the Sharks were unable to complete the comeback, dropping tonight's SSC opener against the Panthers 3-2.

Nova Southeastern is back in action on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:00 PM as they return to Fort Lauderdale, FL to host Lynn University at the NSU Soccer Stadium.
