FORT PIERCE, Fla. –The Women's and Men's swim teams returned to the pool following the winter break for a tri-meet against West Chester University and Indian River State College. The Sharks opened up the second half of their season with strong outings throughout the entire event.

(Women's)

• The group of Mollie Morfelt, Emilia Ronningdal, Rafaela Raurich, and Maya Esparza were victorious in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:45.22.
• Estelle Bauer cruised into first place in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 10:20.90.
• With a time of 1:51.61, Emily Trieschmann took first in the 200 Freestyle.
• In the 50 Backstroke, Morfelt secured first with a time of 27.14.
• Hailey Williams placed first in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:04.27.

• Luca Alessandrini captured first in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 9:22.15.
• In the 100 Freestyle, Marcel Snitko was victorious with a time of 44.84.
• With a time of 55.08, Inigo Marina placed first in the 100 Breaststroke.
• Alessandrini was victorious for the second time of the day, this time in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:34.46. Behind him in second place was Keith Peristeridis with a time of 4:37.00.

  
The Sharks will be back in the pool January 19 as they host the Florida Southern Mocs at the NSU Aquatic Center.
