FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - In what was a scoreless affair through 76 minutes, late goals by Kevin Rubaszewski and Furkan Artar propelled the Sharks to a 2-1 win over the Eckerd Tritons on Monday Night from the NSU Soccer Stadium.

• Suffocating defense from both teams kept the match scoreless through one half.

• The Tritons would break the deadlock with a goal in the 77th minute to take the 1-0 advantage.

• 30 seconds later, Kevin Rubaszewski lasered a shot to the back of the net, tying the match at one apiece.

• The Sharks offensive onslaught continued as Furkan Artar headed in NSU's second goal in the 81st minute off a beautiful feed from Rubaszewski, putting NSU ahead 2-1. 

NSU stayed aggressive defensively, holding the Tritons scoreless throughout the rest of the match, ultimately securing the 2-1 Monday Night SSC victory over Eckerd.
 

 
 
Coach Matt McArthur - Delighted with the win! Another hard fought three points, couldn't be prouder of the team and their effort, particulary in the second half. The grit to come back after going down 1-0 to continue to fight and win the game. A great start to the week, we now turn our focus and attention to Tampa on Wednesday night!
