FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern women's soccer team had a thrilling come-from-behind win over Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 3-2 on Senior Night. NSU Athletics honored six seniors, Kirra Polley, Izzy Martinez, Saga Bjorling, Tabea Schütt, Hannah Light, and Bella Ramirez.

The Sailfish came out swinging early in the first half, with an early goal in the 15th minute.

Coming out of the half, the Sharks quickly answered with one of their own goals by Tabea Schütt assisted by Genesis Hernandez.

The Sailfish pulled ahead in the 79th minute to go back up 2-1.

The Sharks were not done yet as they scored furiously to tie the game back up in the 80th minute off a goal by Genesis Hernandez set up by Haley Mettrick.

The Sharks were able to complete the comeback in the 85th minute with a goal by Sofia Suarez to seal the win.

Coach Amy Vaughan - The girls showed a lot of character to play the way they did under difficult circumstances. To come from behind twice and continue to play our identity was important. We're looking forward to a few days off before we're back in action next week. Go Sharks!
Sofia Suarez - Not a perfect match but this team fought until the very end. We will continue to improve and I'm so proud of each and every one of us for getting a very well desrved win!

Nova Southeastern will hit the road next Wednesday, November 6 in a conference matchup against Embry-Riddle at 7:00 P.M.
