MIAMI, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Men's and Women's Swim teams opened up the '24-'25 season at the TYR Fall Classic, hosted by Florida International. As day one comes to a close, the men's team sits in third place with the women's team sitting in fourth.
Day One Results

(Women's)
- In the 200 free, Kristina Orban took first with a time of 1:51.43.
- With a time of 4:32.72, Emilia Ronningdal placed third in the 400 individual medley.
- Orban finished second in the 100 fly with a time of 56.28.
- Taking second place in the 50 free with a time of 23.73 was Maya Esparza.
- In the 100 breast, Hannah Montgomery took second with a time of 1:04.14.
- The group of Zsofia Kurdi, Maria Goncalves, Orban, and Esparza took second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:35.22.

(Men's)
- Gustav Henriksen, Inigo Marina, Joshua Parry, and Thomas Flower took second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:23.37.
- With a time of 1:40.73, Flower finished second in the 200 free.
- In the 400 individual medley, Javier Colmenares placed second with a time of 4:06.65.
- Mateus Ribeiro took third in the 50 free with a time of 21.14.
- Marina finished second in the 100 breast with a time of 56.41.
- With a time of 52.30, Henriksen placed third in the 100 back.
- The group of Parry, Ribeiro, Flower, and Gavin Lindley took third in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:25.00.
The Sharks will be back in the pool at 10:00 AM on October 5
th for day two of the TYR Fall Classic in Miami, FL.
