FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Swim teams began action in their tri-meet against Florida International and Lynn on Friday afternoon from the NSU Aquatic Center. The Sharks saw several first place finishes from both the Men's and Women's teams.
Day One Results

(Women's)
- The group of Maria Goncalves, Hannah Montgomery, Kristina Orban, and Maya Esparza placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:42.86.
- In the 500 free, Hailey Williams captured the victory with a time of 5:04.54. Finishing just .30 behind Williams in second place was Ilaria Murzilli.
- Montgomery took second in the 50 breast with a time of 29.13.
- With a time of 23.52, Esparza placed second in the 50 free.
- Grace Gardner secured second in the 200 fly with a time of 2:08.43.
- In the 200 breast, Montgomery finished second with a time of 2:18.74.
- Emilia Ronningdal was victorious in the 200 free with a time of 1:52.48.
- Ronningdal secured her second victory of the day, taking first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.37.
- Zsofia Kurdi, Orban, Esparza, and Bethany Weber took first in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:29.45.

(Men's)
- The group of Gustav Henriksen, Inigo Marina, Joshua Parry, and Mateus Ribeiro were victorious in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:32.10.
- Luca Alessandrini captured first in the 500 free with a time of 4:32.24.
- In the 50 breast, Marina placed first with a time of 26.15.
- Gavin Lindley took second in the 50 free with a time of 21.18.
- With a time of 1:51.96, Parry secured first in the 200 fly.
- Marina was victorious a second time on the day, winning the 200 breast with a time of 2:06.05.
- In the 100 back, Henriksen placed first with a time of 50.67.
- Thomas Flower captured first in the 200 free with a time of 1:38.22.
- Parry took his second victory of the meet, taking first in the 50 fly with a time of 22.25.
- With a time of 1:54.86, Michael Kent finished second in the 200 IM.
- Lindley, Ribeiro, Alessandrini, and Flower placed first in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:04.53.

The Nova Southeastern Swim teams are right back at it on November 9
th at 10:00 AM as they continue this tri-meet with Florida International and Lynn from the NSU Aquatic Center.
