FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Tabea Schütt and Alexa Bereczki led the Sharks as they netted two goals en route to NSU's second consecutive conference victory on the season. The Nova Southeastern women's soccer team put on a defensive clinic in their 2-0 win over the Saint Leo Lions Saturday night from the NSU Soccer Complex.

• The Sharks started out aggressive offensively with a goal by Alexa Bereczki (assisted by Sofia Suarez) in the 21st minute. 

• The Sharks kept on the attack for the remainder of the first half with six shots on goal. 

• NSU's defense was lights out as the Lions were only able to get one shot on goal the whole game. 

• Tabea Schütt sealed the game with a strike to the back of the net (assisted Bella Larriu) in the 87th minute. 
   

 
 
Coach Amy Vaughan - The staff are very proud of the performance tonight against a Saint Leo team that did not let up. We have a lot to improve on but another step in the right direction! 

Alexa Bereczki – We did a great job tonight. We came out strong and did our job and executed in all the right areas which led to a great result. 
 
 
 
Nova Southeastern will be back in action on October 9th in another conference match against rival Barry University at 7 pm in Miami Shores, Fla.
