MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference announced the All-Sunshine State Conference members on Thursday morning. Both Kevin Rubaszewski and Ade Olumyiwa were named to the All-SSC First Team.
Voting was conducted among the league's coaches.
Rubaszewski lands on the All-SSC First Team after a being named to the All-SSC Second Team in 2023. He has played a pivotal role in the Sharks' offensive attack this season, leading the team in goals scored (7), assists (5), total points (19), and game-winning goals (3). The German had two multi-goal performances against Embry-Riddle (11/4) and Rollins (11/7). Rubaszewski's seven goals also ranked fifth in the conference.
Olumyiwa, the team's captain, has been named to his first career All-SSC First Team. The graduate student has been at the forefront of the Sharks' defense. He is the only player to have started all 15 games for NSU and logged 1261 minutes of game action. He also scored his lone goal of the season against Tampa (10/23).
