MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference released its men's soccer SSC Preseason Coaches' Poll on Wednesday morning. The Sharks were picked to finish fifth in the league, earning 65 points and one first-place vote.
The Sharks lost in last year's SSC Quarterfinals against Tampa in an SSC thriller. They finished the season with a 7-5-3 overall record and a 6-3-1 record in conference play. Despite the early exit in the postseason, NSU made its presence felt at home, accumulating a 6-0-1 record at the NSU Soccer Stadium.
