Sharks Drop SSC Regular Season Finale Against Tars

WINTER PARK, FLA. - The Nova Southeastern men's soccer team dropped their regular-season finale against the Rollins Tars on Thursday evening from the Barker Family Stadium and Cahall-Sandspur Field.

How it Happened

  • Kevin Rubaszewski gets the action started with a goal in the 4th minute to give NSU the early 1-0 lead.  

  • The Tars answered in the 24th minute to tie the match at one apiece.  

  • Rollins continued to pour it on, tacking on their second goal of the game in the 43rd minute. 

  • Four minutes later, Rollins scored another goal to go up 3-1.  

  • NSU continued to fight, cutting their deficit to one goal after Rubaszewski scored his second goal of the match in the 57th minute. 

The Sharks stayed aggressive offensively but were unable to overcome the deficit, dropping their SSC regular finale against Rollins 3-2. 


Coach's Corner

Coach Matt McArthur - Disappointing night. The only positive coming out of tonight is that we now know we will host the first game of conference tournament. We need to stick together and go again Monday.

What's Next

The Sharks will gear up for the SSC tournament, which is set to begin on Monday, November 11th.
