FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Sharks Men's and Women's Swim teams opened competition in their two-day dual meet against the Barry Buccaneers on Thursday afternoon from the NSU Aquatic Center. Both teams lead after day one, with the Women's team up 126-23 and the Men's team leading 100-46.
Day One Results

(Women's)
- Ilaria Murzilli was victorious in the 500 free with a time of 4:55.45.
- In the 200 IM, Emilia Ronningdal took first with a time of 2:04.14.
- With a time of 2:01.43, May Lowy placed first in the 200 fly.
- Maya Esparza captured first in the 50 free with a time of 22.98.
- Ronningdal took her second victory of the day, winning the 200 back with a time of 2:05.70.
- With a time of 49.85, Kristina Orban took first in the 100 free.
- In the 200 breast, Hannah Montgomery secured first with a time of 2:19.05.
- The group of Zsofia Kurdi, Lowy, Isabella Hernandez, and Sara Quintero were victorious in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:37.12.

(Men's)
- Joshua Parry placed first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:48.82.
- In the 200 fly, Luca Alessandrini was victorious with a time of 1:48.16.
- With a time of 20.64, Gavin Lindley took first in the 50 free.
- Gustav Henriksen captured first in the 200 back with a time of 1:47.28.
- Lindley took his second victory of the day, winning the 100 free with a time of 44.33.
- The group of Parry, Lindley, Mateus Ribeiro, and Tres Izquierdo placed first in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:23.28.
The Sharks are right back it on December 20th, as they continue their dual meet with the Barry Buccaneers at 10:00 AM from the NSU Aquatic Center.
