FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The #15 ranked Nova Southeastern Softball team took down Florida Tech in an SSC thriller on Friday evening, extending their win streak to 10 games. A late triple from Alexis Smith propelled the Sharks to a 1-0 victory over the Panthers.

BOT 6th – Ryleigh Langwell got the action started with a single to left field. Shortly after, Alyssa Drogemuller reached first base on a fielder's choice as Langwell was thrown out at second. Smith then came up to the plate and tripled to right field, bringing Drogemuller home for the first run of the game.
Stellar pitching from Drogemuller closed out the 1-0 SSC victory for Nova Southeastern.
The Sharks have extended their win streak to 10 straight games.

NSU will be back tomorrow to complete the SSC series against the Panthers in a doubleheader at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
