WINTER PARK, Fla. - The #15 ranked NSU Softball team dropped their series opener against the Rollins Tars on Friday night from MLK Stadium, snapping their 12-game win streak.

BOT 1st – The Tars struck first, taking the early 1-0 lead.
BOT 2nd – Rollins tacked on another run to extend their lead to 2-0.
TOP 5th – The Sharks were able to get the bases loaded but the Tars got out of the inning without allowing an NSU run.
Nova Southeastern continued to battle valiantly but were unable to complete the comeback dropping tonight's SSC matchup against Rollins 2-0.

NSU will be back tomorrow to complete the SSC series against the Tars in a doubleheader at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
