FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern softball team split a doubleheader matchup against the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Saturday afternoon from the AD Griffin Sports Complex. NSU took game one 4-0 before the Sailfish bounced back with a 4-3 victory in game two.

BOT 1st – The Sharks poured in two quick runs thanks to RBIs from Aubrey Hutzler and Kerstyn Shaw. Shortly after, a wild pitch allowed Madison Fine to come across home plate, putting the Sharks up 3-0.
BOT 3rd – Madison Fine singled to left field to bring Alexis Smith home for the fourth Shark run of the game.
NSU would go on to secure the SSC series opener against PBA 4-0.

TOP 4th – The Sailfish tacked on four runs to take a commanding 4-0 lead.
BOT 4th – Gianna Russo earned an RBI single to third base, putting the first Shark run on the board.
BOT 5th – Hutzler singled to right field, bringing Alyssa Drogemuller home to cut NSU's deficit to two runs.
BOT 7th – An RBI single from Fine brought another Shark runner home to bring the score to 4-3 in favor of the Sailfish.
The Sharks had an opportunity to take the lead but couldn't complete the comeback, dropping game two against PBA.

NSU will close out the SSC series against the Sailfish tomorrow, Sunday, March 17th. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
