WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Baseball team ran their winning streak to seven consecutive wins as NSU completed a Sunshine State Conference series sweep over the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Saturday afternoon. Nova Southeastern took game one of the twin bill with the second shutout of the series, defeating PBA 12-0. In the series finale, NSU completed the sweep with a 12-11 victory.

Game One
- The Sharks wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, as Tyson Cooper drove in Zeth Rodriguez and Justin Wachs with a two-run single in the top of the first inning.
- NSU tacked on another pair of runs with a two-run double by Bryan Loriga, as he drove in Ariel Garcia and Jorge Braceras, putting the score at 4-0.
- Loriga tallied his third RBI of the game in the top of the fourth inning, driving in Kristian Noriega with an RBI single, and pushing the advantage to 5-0 for NSU.
- Alex Valetin, the Sharks starting pitcher, retired the first 11 PBA hitters he faced.
- In the top of the fifth inning, Rodriguez scored once again, this time on a sacrifice fly by Boris Pena, giving NSU a 6-0 lead.
- Kader Rabagh relieved Valentin in the top of the sixth inning.
- The Sharks scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning, pushing the lead to 12-0.
- Nova Southeastern sealed the series win with their second consecutive shutout victory, defeating PBA 12-0.
- Sharks pitchers combined for 19 consecutive scoreless innings, spanning from the ninth inning in the series finale against Davenport (3/9) through the second game of the series against Palm Beach Atlantic.
Game Two
- The series finale was a slugfest, as the Sunshine State Conference foes combined for 23 runs and 26 hits.
- Bryan Loriga and Tyson Cooper led the Sharks in the effort, powering NSU to the series sweep. Loriga went 3-5, with a pair of home runs, five RBI and scored three times in the finale, while Cooper went 2-3 and drove in four runs.
