FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Baseball team dropped the Sunshine State Conference series finale to the Embry-Riddle Eagles 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at the NSU Baseball Complex.

Carlos Nolasco, the starting pitcher for the Sharks, totaled three strikeouts in his first two innings of work.
The Eagles scored a pair of runs in the top of the third inning, taking a 2-1 lead.
NSU responded in the bottom half of the frame, as Boria Pena drove in
Kristian Noriega with an RBI single.
Keyler Gonzalez took over on the mound in relief of Nolasco in the top of the fourth inning, inheriting a jam with runners on second and third base for Embry-Riddle.
Gonzalez escaped with a pair of ground outs, keeping the score at 2-1.
Embry-Riddle extended their lead with an RBI groundout, putting the score at 3-1.
NSU was unable to muster any offense in the final four innings, only getting two base runners, and lost the series finale 3-1.
