FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nova Southeastern Athletics continued the recent trend of being one of the most dominant athletic departments in NCAA Division II throughout the 2023-24 athletic year. The Sharks added two more NCAA national championships (Women's Swimming and Women's Tennis) bringing the departmental total to 13, claimed eight NCAA individual national titles, 28 student-athletes were recognized as All-Americans, NSU athletics claimed four Sunshine State Conference Championships, and four teams were ranked No. 1 in their respective national polls – Women's Swimming, Men's Basketball, Women's Golf and Women's Tennis. The success culminated in an eighth-place finish in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup, the second consecutive top-10 finish for the department.

- Jonathan Furio finished second in the 2000-meter Steeplechase at the UCF Black and Gold Invitational (7:44.16)
- Marcus Tortorella won the 3000-meter run at the Black and Gold Invitational, finishing in 9:09.24, while David Mahnke placed second (9:21.72)
- Tortorella followed with another win in the 3000-meters at the Miami Hurricanes Invitational (9:06.12) and Ethan Miller finished second (9:57.90).
- Eden Toal (2nd/4:46.19), Ally Jakubiak (3rd/4:47.47), Megan Winterbottom (4th/4:50.98) and Leena Saidi (5th/4:51/13) all placed within the top-five in the 1500-meter at the Hurricane Invitational.
- Bella Butler, Amanda Stone, Megan Winterbottom and McKinzie Winget set a school record in the 4 x 800 relay (9:22.95) during the Keiser Twilight Invitational
