ORLANDO, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference announced its weekly award winners for the week of March 23 - March 29, and two Sharks were highlighted. Jorge Degoti was named Baseball Player of the Week and Noemie Dadoun was named Women's Tennis Player of the Week, respectively.
DeGoti put together a huge four-game stretch out of the two-hole to help power Nova Southeastern to a 4-0 week. Across the wins over Barry and Palm Beach Atlantic, DeGoti finished with a 9-for-18 (.500) line, adding 7 runs scored, 3 RBI, 3 doubles, 2 walks, and 2 stolen bases.
Dadoun turned in a strong all-around performance for the Sharks in a two-match stretch against ranked conference opponents. She went a combined 4-0 in doubles and singles, and helped Nova Southeastern rebound from a loss to Florida Southern with a 7-0 win over Eckerd.

Degoti and Dadoun will be back in action this week, as the baseball team begins a series against Emmanuel University (Ga.) starting on April 3rd at 4PM and the tennis team will face off in conference action against Palm Beach Atlantic on April 1st at 2PM.
