FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nova Southeastern University Athletic programs and its student-athletes continued the standard of academic success during the 2024 fall semester. NSU student-athletes accomplished a departmental grade-point average (GPA) of 3.51, reaching 28 consecutive semesters with a departmental GPA above 3.00 and 11th consecutive semester above a 3.25. 

Rachel Fineberg, the Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Support Services, Senior Woman Administrator, and Title IX Coordinator, oversees the academic efforts for Nova Southeastern Athletics and student-athletes. "I am so proud of the effort of our student-athletes during the fall semester, their commitment to both academic and athletic excellence is inspiring," said Fineberg. "On behalf of NSU Athletics administration and coaches, we are all proud of the student-athletes for their accomplishments. Additionally, special congratulations to the 49 student-athletes, the most to-date, on earning perfect 4.0 GPAs!" 

During the 2024 Fall Semester, 85% of student-athletes earned a term GPA of 3.00 or above and 75% are considered scholar-athletes with a term GPA of 3.25 or above.
