Dallas Graziani added 20 points and seven assists, and the #1 NSU Sharks extended their home winning streak to 85 games as they took down #6 Alabama-Huntsville 87-79 at the SSC-GSC Crossover on Homecoming. The Sharks honored head coach
Jim Crutchfield in a pregame ceremony, dedicating the court in his name.

The Sharks opened the game with a quick 6-0 run after
Jaxon Nap converted two free throws. The Chargers responded with a run of their own, tying the game 8-8 just under the 16:00 mark of the first half. The Chargers went up 13-8 after a three-pointer, but the Sharks tied the game at 15 on a jumper from Reeves.
The Chargers went up 27-20, their biggest lead of the game, at the 6:57 mark after a fastbreak layup. The Sharks, however, battled back and tied things up at 29 after two quick steals from Graziani, forcing a timeout and getting the Shark faithful to their feet. The two teams continued battling, and NSU knotted the game at 42 on a jumper from
Ryan Davis just as the first half clock expired.
NSU opened the second half with a run to go up by five, but the Chargers managed to tie the score again at 51 by the first media timeout. The Sharks went up by seven on a three-pointer from Davis to push the advantage to 64-57. The Chargers responded with another run, tying the game again at 68 by the under-8 media timeout and then went up by five, 73-68, with 5:26 remaining.
The Sharks responded with a final push, first by attacking the basket and hitting four free throws, and then got a clutch three-pointer from Reeves to take an 83-78 lead with 1:38 remaining. Graziani closed the game with another bucket and two more free throws, and the Shark defense held steady to come out with the 87-79 win.
