FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Volleyball team, under the direction of Head Coach Kacie Ehinger, has announced the commitment of Kotryna Melstrad, Taylor Norris, Callie Largent, and Langdon Blackstock and welcomes the four signees to the program.
Kotryna Melstrad | Outside Hitter | Hinsdale South High School & Sports Performance Volleyball Club | Darien, Illinois.
She has been a dominant and consistent force throughout her career, earning All-Conference honors in 2023, 2024, and 2025, while also being named Team MVP in each of those seasons. Her impact extended beyond conference play as she earned All-State recognition in 2024 and 2025, as well as All-Region honors in 2024. She was additionally selected to the All-Area Team in both 2024 and 2025.
Head Coach Kacie Ehinger - "Kotryna is a solid 6 rotation player with a heavy arm who can swing on either pin and has trained in a disciplined high-level environment at Sports Performance. She is a strong competitor and we're excited to add her to a strong group of pins."
Taylor Norris | Middle Blocker | Wando High School & SC Elite Volleyball | Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Norris continued to shine in 2025, earning AVCA All-Region Player of the Year honors and securing a spot in the SCCAWS North/South All-Star Game. Her outstanding play also landed her on the WIT All-Tournament Team and earned her recognition as a Hype SZN All-Star. In 2024, she was acknowledged for her strong performance with an All–Low Country Honorable Mention.

Callie Largent | Setter/Right Side | Reagan High School & Triad United | Advance, North Carolina
A standout throughout her career, Largent has earned recognition at every level of play. In 2025, she was named to the AVCA All-American Watch List, the NCVBCA Watchlist, the NCVCA All-Region team, the CPC All-Conference team, and the NCVBCA All-Stars.
She also secured national attention as a three-time JVA Watchlist honoree in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and was selected for the prestigious 2024 AVCA Phenom Underclass List.
Head Coach Kacie Ehinger - "Callie brings a fire and energy to the setting position. She is a solid blocker, offensive setter, and runs the offense well. We're excited to have her join us for the Winter Semester to get acclimated to the system and have a semester playing with the team under her belt come fall!"
Langdon Blackstock | Outside Hitter | Bishop England High School & SC Elite Volleyball | Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Blackstock delivered an exceptional performance over the past two seasons, earning All-State honors in both 2024 and 2025 while also being named Player of the Year each year. Her dominance was further recognized with All-Region selections in 2024 and 2025, along with an invitation to compete in the 2025 SCCAWS North/South All-Star Game. She capped off her standout run by helping lead her team to a 2025 State Runner-Up finish.

The four signees will join the Sharks Volleyball program in the fall of 2026. NSU will play their final match at the Rick Case Arena for the 2025 season on Tuesday, November 18th, against Barry University.
