MELBOURNE, Fla. - On Monday afternoon, the Sunshine State Conference announced the Players of the Week for the week of October 27- November 2. Nova Southeastern's Kristina Orban (Women's Swimming) was honored following her performances last week.

Orban was the top swimmer for Nova Southeastern in a dual meet win against Tampa. The Swede earned two individual NCAA D2 "B" cuts with her wins in the 200 free (1:47.90) and 100 fly (54.68). Her 200 free time ranks No. 1 in NCAA Division II this season and was just 0.68 short of an "A" cut. Orban's 100 fly time currently ranks third in the nation. The weekly award is the fourth of her career and is the second this season.
