How it Happened
  • Jianna Ramirez got free and raced past the Eagles' defense, scoring a breakaway goal with just 21 seconds remaining in the first half to give NSU a 1-0 lead. That goal was Ramirez' first of the season and gave the Sharks momentum going into the locker room.
  • Late in the second half, the Sharks scored again, as Oliwia Loeman assisted Genesis Hernandez on a goal at the 79:11 mark for a 2-0 lead. That goal was Hernandez' 12th of the year and provided the final cushion for the Sharks.
What's Next
The Sharks finish the regular season with a record of 13-0-3 (7-0-3 SSC) and as regular season champions for the first time since 2017. They'll now turn their focus to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, as they'll host the #8-seed Barry Buccanneers in the quarterfinals on Monday, November 10th.
