HUNTSVILLE, Al. – The Nova Southeastern University Sharks Volleyball team completed play at the UAH Invitational Saturday afternoon with a five-set defeat in their match against Trevecca Nazarene and a three-set victory over Lincoln Memorial. At the conclusion of today's tournament, Taylor Stockman was named to the All-Tournament team across four games. Stockman recorded 74 kills, 35 digs, and 16 blocks.

GAME 1

- The Sharks started quickly with a pair of points from Taylor Stockman and one from Caiden Largent, setting the score at 3-3.
- Taking a 10-6 lead, with points off blocks from Caiden Largent, Olivia Aniol, and Brantley Chipley. Taylor Stockman and Erika Spankus added points during the run.
- Erika Spankus, Brantley Chipley, and Taylor Stockman each tallied a kill as the Sharks pushed the score to 13-9.
- Aided by a pair of errors the Sharks' lead grew to 18-13.
- The Trojans went on a 6-1 run to even the score at 19-19.
- Caiden Largent, Taylor Stockman, and Erika Spankus took the Sharks lead to 23-20.
- Taylor Stockman put up the final two points needed for the set win at 25-22.
- The second start began with a quick three-point run for the Trojans.
- Taylor Stockman put a pair of points on the board as the Sharks countered making the score 5-4.
- Points for each side continued to climb until the Trojans pulled away at a 13-10 score.
- Taylor Stockman put three points on the board from kills and a block assisted by Brantley Chipley, evening the score at 13-13.
- The Sharks and Trojans continued to battle pushing the score to 20-18 in favor of the Trojans
- A late three-point rally started by Erika Spankus pulled the Sharks ahead 21-20.
- The Trojans regained the lead and held on to take the second set 25-23.
- As the third set began the Sharks took a 3-2 lead with kills from Brantley Chipley and Taylor Stockman.
- The Trojans responded with a five-point run, taking a 7-3 lead.
- The two sides alternated points through the middle of the set as the score reached 14-10 for the Trojans.
- Erika Spankus and Taylor Stockman each tallied a pair of kills, as the Sharks pulled even at 16-16.
- The Sharks took the lead at 19-18 after Caiden Largent put up consecutive points.
- Taylor Stockman tallied consecutive kills pushing the Sharks up to 22-21.
- The Trojans rattled off four consecutive points to finish off the third set at 25-22.
- A pair of four-point runs with tallies coming from Brantley Chipley, Erika Spankus, Taylor Stockman, Olivia Aniol, and Brooke Spurgeon, the Sharks took an 8-1 lead as the fourth set began.
- Caiden Largent and Taylor Stockman took the Sharks lead to 12-8.
- The Trojans stayed in the set, battling back to draw even at 17-17.
- With a pair of points from Erika Spankus, the Sharks regained the lead at 19-17.
- The Trojans took a late lead at 23-21.

GAME 2

The second match of the day the Sharks took on Lincoln Memorial University.
- The first set began 2-0 for the Sharks from a pair of kills by Caiden Largent.
- The Sharks and Railsplitters pushed the score to 5-5, with points coming from Taylor Stockman.
- Points from Erika Spankus, Olivia Aniol, Caiden Largent, and Brantley Chipley pushed the Sharks into the lead at 11-9.
- The Sharks pulled ahead offensively, charging to a 17-13 lead.
- Gabrielle Spankus, Brantley Chipley, and Erika Spankus tallied points for the Sharks to take the score to 22-19.
- Erika Spankus continued to add points to the Sharks score finishing the first set with a kill, and a 25-21 set win.
- The second set started with a two-point deficit for the Sharks.
- Consecutive services aces from Taylor Stockman put the Sharks in the lead at 6-4.
- The Sharks took the score to 11-6 with a pair of points coming from Olivia Aniol, and lone points from Erika Spankus, Brantley Chipley, Gabrielle Spankus, and Caiden Largent.
- Caiden Largent, Marley Navaretta, Taylor Stockman, and Erika Spankus each tallied points to push the advantage to 16-8.
- The Sharks took the score to 21-14 after back-to-back blocks from Caiden Largent and Olivia Aniol.
- The Railsplitters rallied late in the set, closing the gap on the scoreboard to 23-19.
- Taylor Stockman finished the second set with a pair of kills, as the Sharks took the set 25-20.
- The Sharks fell behind 2-0 at the start of the third set.
- Points from Brantley Chipley, Marley Navaretta, and Taylor Stockman put the Sharks in the lead 4-2.
- The Sharks put together a three-point rally with a block by Caiden Largent and Gabrielle Spankus, a service ace from Olivia Aniol, and a kill by Taylor Stockman. Putting the Sharks ahead 11-9.
- The Sharks and Railsplitters alternated points, until the Sharks pulled ahead with the score at 20-19 off a Caiden Largent kill.
- Gabrielle Spankus and Taylor Stockman combined for a block to put the Sharks ahead 21-19.
- Caiden Largent, Erika Spankus, and Taylor Stockman each recorded points as the Sharks secured the victory, finishing the set 25-23.
