MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced the Players of the Week for the week of September 8 – September 14, on Monday afternoon. Nova Southeastern Sharks student-athletes
Jillian Thorning (Women's Cross Country) and
Oliwia Loeman (Women's Soccer) earned honors following their performances this past week.
Thorning repeats as Runner of the Week after securing the victory at the Saint Thomas University Bobcat Invitational in Miami, Florida. The weekly award is the fourth of her career, third in cross country.
Loeman scored three goals in just 57 minutes on the pitch as Nova Southeastern went 2-0-0 during a Mississippi road trip.
