NSU later got a steal, a three-pointer from Dallas Graziani, and another steal and score from Ross Reeves to go up 21-6. Another three-pointer from Reeves gave them a 20-point lead, and Bennett Kayser scored an and-one to give the Sharks a 31-9 lead at the under-12 timeout.

The Sharks kept pouring it on, as they held a 42-14 lead at the under-8 timeout, and went up by 30 on Jaxon Nap's layup soonafter. NSU hit the 50-point threshold on Ryan Walsh's second three-pointer of the game, and led 50-25 at the last media timeout of the half. They led 57-29 at the break.

The Shark advantage hovered at or above 30 points for the remainder of the game. They outscored the Panthers in the paint 42-18 and hit 14 of their 34 three-point attempts (41%).
