BOCA RATON, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University Sharks Volleyball fell straight sets on the road against No. 11 Lynn, dropping its fourth consecutive match.

First Set (25-22, LYNN) – NSU gained a quick 6-2 start but saw the early lead quickly diminish off strong attacking from Lynn. The Fighting Knights used a 5-0 run to take a 17-14 lead and never looked back finishing the set with a kill from Alexia Radulovic.
Second Set (25-11, LYNN) – The best set of the night for the Fighting Knights was also the worst for the Sharks leading to NSU being held to just 11 points in the middle frame of the contest. NSU hit -.200 as a team while Lynn surged hitting .409 with 10 kills to just one attacking error. A 10-0 run elevating Lynn from a 13-7 lead to a 23-7 lead highlighted the set for the home squad.
Third Set (25-18, LYNN) – The Sharks fell behind early in a do-or-die set as the visitors but used an 8-1 run after a
Matt Geer timeout to bring the set score back within two. The Fighting Knights were able to break the spell with a timeout of their own to secure the sweep and their 14
th consecutive set win.
Macy Lentz led the Sharks in scoring for the first time this season with eight kills and seven assists.
NSU recorded a season-high five solo blocks led by two from
Dana Gibbons.

Nova Southeastern returns home after three straight matches on the road to face Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. NSU defeated PBA, 3-0, in a non-conference match earlier this season at the NSU Shark Invitational at the end of August.
