AUSTIN, Texas – Nova Southeastern Women's Swimmers Emilia Ronningdal, Hailey Williams and Kristina Orban have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® First and Second Teams, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
2026 CSC Academic All-America Teams
Hailey Williams and Emilia Ronningdal were both named to the CSC Academic All-America First Team while Kristina Orban was named to the Second Team. It is the first time any of the selected swimmers have made the CSC Academic All-America list.
Williams, a psychology major, has aquired a 3.98 cumulative GPA in her senior season at NSU. While excelling in the classroom Williams took home second place in the NCAA final heat in the 1650 freestyle while clinching an individual national championship in the 800 yard freestyle relay.
Ronningdal is a four-time CSCAA All-American taking home CSC Academic All-American honors for the first time. The senior has aquired a 3.70 GPA majoring in Applied Professional Studies at NSU Florida. Ronningdal clinched the individual championship with a winning time of 1:58.83 in the 200 yard individual medley. Ronningdal also took home trophies as part of the 400 freestyle relay and 800 freestyle relay teams.
Orban was the most decorated swimmer in all of Division II as the sophomore takes home Second Team Academic All-American honors with a 3.95 cumulative GPA majoring in Management. Orban took home individual championships in the 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle, and 200 freestyle at the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis. Orban was also a part of the 200 freestyle relay, 800 freestyle relay, and 200 medley relay teams that all took home trophies as Orban left the national meet with six championships in the pool.
All three honorees were also team national champions as the Sharks clinched their fourth consecutive NCAA National Championship.
