VALDOSTA, Ga. – The No. 15 Nova Southeastern University Men's Golf team captured its first NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional championship since 2015, finishing the tournament at 24-under-par (840/281/280/279). The Sharks were led by Bruno Marques, who finished tied for second at 14-under-par (69/67/66), and Ivan Ponsdomenech, who tied for seventh after shooting 6-under-par (67/70/73). With the regional title, Nova Southeastern advances to the NCAA National Championship with strong momentum.

RESULTS
- Bruno Marques (-14/69/67/66) opened the tournament at Valdosta Country Club with a strong first round, recording 13 pars and four birdies to finish at 3-under 69. In the second round, Marques stayed red hot, tallying 11 pars and six birdies on the way to a 5-under 67, helping position the Sharks near the top of the leaderboard. In the final round, Marques delivered his best performance of the tournament, carding eight pars, eight birdies to shoot a stellar 6-under 66. He finished the tournament at 14-under.
- Ivan Ponsdomenech (-6/67/70/73) opened the tournament with an impressive first round, totaling 13 pars and five birdies to shoot a 5-under 67. In the second round, Ponsdomenech stayed consistent, recording 14 pars and three birdies while posting a 2-under 70 to keep himself among the tournament leaders. In the final round, he added 12 pars and three birdies, battling through a tougher day to finish with a 1-over 73. Ponsdomenech closed the tournament at 6-under.
- Elias Mardeni (E/77/69/70) opened the tournament with a first round that featured 12 pars and two birdies, finishing the day at 5-over 77. In the second round, Mardeni bounced back in a big way, recording 9 pars and six birdies to shoot a 3-under 69 and climb the leaderboard. In the final round, he stayed steady with 12 pars and four birdies, closing the tournament with a 2-under 70. Mardeni finished the event at even-par.
- Rodrigo Huerta (+1/71/74/72) opened the tournament with a steady first round, recording 15 pars and two birdies to finish at 1-under 71. In the second round, Huerta added 10 pars and three birdies, battling through a few difficult holes to post a 2-over 74. In the final round, he carded eight pars and five birdies to close the tournament with an even-par 72. Huerta finished the event at 1-over.
- Jorge Berea (+7/74/78/71) opened the tournament with a consistent first round, tallying 12 pars and two birdies to finish at 2-over 74. In the second round, Berea recorded 11 pars and one birdie battling through a difficult stretch on the course to post a 6-over 78. In the final round, he bounced back with a strong showing, carding seven pars and six birdies to shoot a 1-under 71. Berea finished the tournament at 7-over.
