FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Women's soccer team rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit, scoring twice in the final 16 minutes to earn a 2-2 draw against Flagler College on Wednesday afternoon at Amerant Bank Field at NSU Soccer Stadium. Jianna Ramirez sparked the comeback with her first goal of the season in the 75th minute, while Genesis Hernandez found the equalizer in the 84th minute as the Sharks battled back.

• Flagler opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Ella Gembicki finished a pass from Phoebe Davidson, giving the Saints a 1-0 advantage.
• The visitors doubled their lead less than two minutes later as Jacqueline DeStefano found the back of the net following a Flagler corner kick, extending the margin to 2-0.
• Nova Southeastern created several first-half opportunities, led by
Genesis Hernandez, but Flagler goalkeeper Irina Barron Gomez made six saves before halftime to preserve the visitors' lead.
• In the 75th minute,
Jianna Ramirez cut the deficit to 2-1 after finishing a setup from
Alexa Bereczki, igniting the NSU comeback effort.
• Hernandez provided the equalizer in the 84th minute, finding the back of the net to level the match at 2-2 and cap off a dominant second-half performance by the Sharks.
With the draw, the Sharks move to 1-0-1 and will travel to Laredo, Texas to face off against Texas A&M International on Saturday, September 5th at 12pm.
