FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's Soccer team built a two-goal first-half lead but was unable to hold off a second-half surge from Barry University, falling 3-2 in Sunshine State Conference action on Tuesday evening at Amerant Bank Field at NSU Soccer Stadium. Markus Rokseth and Andres Morral Rosales scored for the Sharks, while Barry netted three unanswered goals in the second half to complete the comeback.

• Nova Southeastern wasted little time taking control as
Markus Rokseth finished a pass from
Erik Krohnstad in the sixth minute, giving the Sharks an early 1-0 advantage.
• In the 25th minute,
Andres Morral Rosales converted a penalty kick after a Barry foul in the box, extending the NSU lead to 2-0.
• Barry began its comeback effort in the 62nd minute when Daniel Romero-Ramos found the back of the net off an assist from Guillermo De Terry, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
• The Buccaneers leveled the match just three minutes later as Didier Jean-Baptiste scored in the 65th minute following a setup from Austin Collins.
• Barry completed the comeback in the 71st minute when Pierre Fabre converted a scoring chance off assists from Collins and Romero-Ramos, giving the visitors their first lead of the night at 3-2.
The Sharks will return to action on Sept. 26 when they continue Sunshine State Conference play against the Florida Southern Mocs at Amerant Bank Field at NSU Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
