NSU Athletic Academic Services is committed to providing the necessary support to assist all student-athletes in reaching their full potential academically, personally, and professionally. We provide a comprehensive range of support including academic guidance, career development, campus collaboration, and success coaching, which are all aimed at promoting a philosophy of individual responsibility to encourage each student-athlete to value their educational experience. In providing such services, student-athletes will have the opportunity to develop the skills needed to persist towards graduation and lead successful and productive lives. - The departmental GPA for student-athletes has exceeded the 3.0 benchmark for 23 consecutive years, which is the longest streak in school history
- NSU student-athletes maintained a 3.50 cumulative GPA during the 2024-25 academic year.
- 87% of Shark Student-Athletes earned above a 3.00 GPA in both the Winter 2025 semester
- The 2024-25 academic year marked the fifth straight year of a departmental GPA above a 3.40.
- A departmental record 170 student-athletes were named to the Sunshine State Conference Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll
