Black received NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week after posting a pair of individual wins to help lead the Sharks to a 131.5-64.5 win over Rollins. Black clocked a time of 1:56.58 in the 200-yard freestyle, posting the second fastest time turned in by an SSC swimmer in the 200-free this season. She also posted the league’s second-best time in the 500-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 5:07.44. Black had already achieved an NCAA B-qualifying time in that race and her mark versus the tars also met that standard.
