Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (October 27, 2007) - With a chance for both teams  to improve their playoff seedings, the Nova Southeastern Sharks (10-2-2,  5-1-2 SSC) and the Florida Southern Moccasins (12-6-1, 4-3-1) failed to  do so as the two teams battled to a 0-0 double overtime draw on  Saturday night at the NSU Soccer Complex.
 For the game, the Sharks outshot Florida Southern 13-7 while the Mocs  held an 8-6 corner kick advantage. The foul count was Nova Southeastern  16 and Florida Southern six.    
 Mocs goalkeeper Sarah Furr made four saves on the night, with one in  particular standing as the save of the match.    
 In the 84th minute, Stephanie Quinones (Jr., Pembroke Pines, Fla.) made a  promising run down the middle of the field and her shot from outside  the 18 yard box seemed destined for the top left corner but Furr made a  spectacular diving save to preserve the clean sheet.    
 NSU goalkeeper Sarah Glass (So., Melbourne, Fla.) made two saves.    
 The Sharks have finished third in the SSC for the second consecutive  year and for the second time in as many years, will host the Lynn  Fighting Knights in SSC Tournament Quarterfinal action at a time to be  determined on Tuesday, October 30 at the NSU Soccer Complex. The game  will be part of an SSC Tournament doubleheader as the NSU Men's Soccer  team will host the Saint Leo Lions on Tuesday night.
