FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Sept. 27, 2008) - The Nova Southeastern University Men's Soccer Team defeated the Thomas University NightHawks 4-3 on Saturday night at the NSU Soccer Complex.

The Sharks, improving their record to (6-3-1), got on the board first thanks to the first of two goals from Sophomore Craig Heenighan (Widnes, England).

Teammate Aly Hassan (So., Davie, Fla.) complemented Heenighan's first half goal with one of his own to regain the lead for NSU in the first half. Romain Onteniente (Jr., Nice, France) and Junior David Wahlberg (Skanor, Sweden) assisted on the play.

Onteniente would later add a goal of his own in the second half that would prove to be the difference maker.

In goal for the Sharks was sophomore Juan Vizcarrando (Weston, Fla.). The NSU goalkeeper faced only 8 shots all night as the Shark defense allowed very little penetration beyond the center line.

Next up for the men's team is a trip to Lakeland, Fla. to kick it off with Florida Southern College on October 1st at 7:00 pm.
