The Nova Southeastern University softball team (17-8, 1-2 SSC) will tackle another tough task this weekend as they will host No. 17 Rollins (22-1, 3-0 SSC) at the AD Griffin Sports Complex for a three-game series on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19.

The Sharks will host a single game against the Tars at 7 p.m. Friday night for their designated Alumni Night. NSU will conclude the series with a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

Nova Southeastern is coming off a 2-3 week, but defeated No. 15 Tampa Spartans 1-0 to close out the series.

Senior Rachel Talenfeld (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) leads the team and is fifth in the SSC with a .430 batting average. She tops in the conference with 15 walks and with 14 stolen bases.

Laura Saladrigas (So., Pembroke Pines, Fla.) has posted 27 RBI and a team leading four home runs.

Lexi Sarradet (Sr., Miami, Fla.) has also shined on the mound, despite her ERA at 3.21. At a 6-1 record, Sarradet defeated Deanna Henriott from Tampa in a head-to-head battle and shutting out Tampa, 1-0. She has struck out 48, only allowing 13 walks.
