Martinez, the first Shark to advance to Major League Baseball, recently returned to South Florida for his Houston Astros series against the Florida Marlins. During the weekend, Martinez becme the first big leaguer to hit a home run in Marlins Park. Prior to Sunday's day game, Martinez sat down with NSUSharks.com to discuss his rise to prominence and what its like to represent NSU at the sports' highest stage.
