FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University women's swimming team welcomes the Lynn University Fighting Knights the NSU Aquatic Center on Saturday October 31st, marking the first Sunshine State Conference meet of the year.
The Sharks are coming off of a month-long break, as they swam at the All-Florida Invitational in the University of Florida in late September.
Malin Westman (So., Harryda, Sweden) shined at the invite, swimming a 2:21.06 in the 200-yard breaststroke, earning the third fastest time in the event in NCAA Division II this year.
Courtney DeVeny (So., Estero, Fla.), the 2015 400-yard individual medley NCAA DII National Champion, currently holds three top-5 times in NCAA DII in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke and the 400-IM.
The women look to continue their dual-meet winning streak, winning eight meets in a row dating back to October 30, 2014 when the Sharks defeated Lynn 107-82.
