FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. –
For the first time in 2015, Nova Southeastern University's baseball team (9-0) will hit the road, traveling to Miami Gardens, Florida. to take on the St. Thomas University Bobcats (4-3) on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. The matchup marks the first mid-week game for the Sharks this year.

NSU is coming off of their third sweep of the season, writing off the No. 11 Penmen of Southern New Hampshire. The Sharks' pitching staff held the Penmen to three runs in each contest, lowering the team ERA to 2.61. The pitching staff was given a solid amount of run support, led by a big weekend from Justin Garcia (Jr., Hialeah, Fla.), who smashed two home runs over the course of three games.

St. Thomas has had a rocky start to the season, winning four of its first seven games, one of which was a win over Sunshine State Conference member, Barry University. The Bobcats are currently hitting .326 as a team, featuring four players hitting over .400.

The Sharks will send freshman Cameron Churchill (Palm Harbor, Fla.) to the mound Tuesday night, his first start of the season. Churchill has one appearance on the year, recording his first outing as a Shark against Stillman College on Opening Day.

The game will be broadcasted live on the St. Thomas Bobcats network. Be sure to tune in by clicking the links at the top of the story.
