Before falling down by three, the Sharks once again stranded two runners on in the third inning. In the fourth, pitcher

Te Reo Powhiri Matautia (Jr., Auckland, New Zealand) kept the game alive with a single up the middle. Ammons followed up with a double down the right field line, scoring Matautia from first. With the tying run at the plate, the game ended with Rollins' pitcher Niki Fogle's fifth strikeout of the game.
