FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The No. 3 Nova Southeastern University Sharks (32-7, 12-3 SSC) will take their final midweek road trip on Tuesday, heading north on I-95 to take on the Palm Beach Atlantic University Sailfish (19-17) in the Battle of the Fish: Part IV.
Matt Hardy (So., Pembroke Pines, Fla.) will make his fifth start of the year Tuesday night, marking his third consecutive start against the Sailfish in as many weeks. Hardy has allowed a combined five earned runs over the last two starts against PBA, striking out a total of eight batters.
The Sharks offense will continue to be led by
Roche Woodard (Sr., Tampa, Fla.),
Mario Urdaneta (Sr., Ocala, Fla.),
Alexander Fernandez (Sr., Davie, Fla.) and
Justin Garcia (Jr., Hialeah, Fla.). The Sharks have scored 24 runs over a three-game span against the Sailfish, blasting a home run in two of the three games.
