FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Nova Southeastern University volleyball team (3-0) will return to Aiken, S. C. for the first time since 2012 to participate in the USC-Aiken Volleyball Invitational. The Sharks will face off with four different opponents in the Convocation Center Sept. 11-12.
The Sharks' first opponent will be Belmont Abbey at 1 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. matchup against the host USC-Aiken at 3 p.m. On Saturday, NSU will square off at 10 a.m. against Lees McRae and then close out the tournament with a 2 p.m. match against King College.
This will be the first time NSU will face Belmont Abbey and King College. In three previous meetings against USC-Aiken, the Sharks are 0-3 and in the only meeting between NSU and Lees McRae, the Sharks are 0-1.

www.PacerSports.com. Video streaming and live stat coverage will be limited to just the Pacers' main court throughout the tournament, but will be available for NSU's matches against the host Pacers and King.
Just a week ago, the Sharks got off to their best start since the 2000 season going 3-0 at the 8
th Annual Sharks Invitational. NSU's impressive start began with a 3-0 win over East Central on Friday, Sept. 4, which was followed with a pair of wins the following day over Virginia State 3-1 and Westminster 3-0.
Both
Katie Pyles (Jr., Denver, Colo.) and
Dana Holger (Sr., Lino Lakes, Minn.) paved the way for the Sharks out of the gate after being named to the Sharks Invitational All-tournament team. Holger led the team averaging 2.9 kills, 2.30 digs per set and a .308 hitting percentage, while Pyles averaged 8.10 assists and totaled 20 kills over three matches.
Senior
Caitlin Donahue (Miami, Fla.) also got off to an impressive start hitting .367 with 24 kills and six blocks. Freshman
Denvyr Tyler-Palmer (Jacksonville, Fla.) made her collegiate debut totaling 18 kills in three starts.
