Nova Southeastern (11-11, 3-6 SSC) fell to the visiting Fighting Knights of Lynn University, 3-1 (20-25, 22-25, 25-20, 16-25), in a tough Sunshine State Conference battle on Tuesday night in the NSU Arena.

Katie Pyles contributed 29 assists.
Megan Burns recorded 26 digs and three aces.
The Tritons will enter Friday night's match with an overall record of 14-7 and a 6-3 record against conference opponents. Earlier this season, the Sharks dropped a five-set match to Eckerd (14-25, 25-19, 25-27, 25-21, 10-15) to push the Tritons ahead in the all-time series, 26-25. The Tritons are ranked in the top half of the SSC with a .206 team hitting percentage and are led by Kali Boatwright and Jaquayla Baker, who are averaging 2.90 and 2.67 kills per set, respectively. Baker's .332 hitting percentage is currently second-best in the Sunshine State Conference.
On Saturday, the Sharks will turn around and play the third-place team in the SCC with Florida Southern (14-6, 6-3 SSC) coming into the match with a No. 24 national ranking. After dropping a 3-1 match to the Mocs earlier this season, NSU will look to avenge and even the season series on the Mocs' home court. Offensively, FSC is ranked in the top three of all categories and hold the top spot on the defensive side with an average 16.29 digs per set. Anna Tovo not only leads the Mocs, but also the SSC as a whole, with her 4.36 kills per set.
Despite their spot in the conference standings, the Sharks continue to rank in the top half of multiple categories including blocks (1.92 per set), aces (1.70 per set) and digs (16.09 per set). Tyler-Palmer and Ronyak continue to lead NSU offensively, averaging 3.66 and 3.10 kills per set, respectively.
