CARY, N.C. – Due to weather concerns with a tropical disturbance heading straight for the Carolina's on Sunday, the No. 6 Nova Southeastern University baseball team's (39-16, 18-6 SSC) game against the No. 1 Franklin Pierce University Ravens (48-7, 20-1 NE-10) has been moved up a day to Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
No stranger to dealing with adversity, the Sharks will play one day ahead of schedule and look to win game one of the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship. All four first round games will be played on Saturday with the first game beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the final game scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. There are no games scheduled for Sunday in Cary, N.C. No matter the result of Saturday's game, the Sharks will play again on Tuesday afternoon.
