HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES:
- Andrea Ivanovic and Daniella Obando were victorious at No. 1 doubles defeating Arijana Korac and Vicky Guerinckx, 6-2. However, on a Div. I court, because Stetson had taken No. 2 and 3 doubles, the Hatters went into singles with a 1-0 advantage.
SINGLES
- The Sharks saw three of the four singles matches go to 10-point tie-breakers. However, Stetson won all of three tiebreakers and shutout the Sharks for a 7-0 win.
NEAGLE'S NOTES
"It can be very deflating and difficult only having four players, but the girls fought and focused on what they could control. This match was very close to being 4-3."
