Obando and Yeardley pick up a win at No. 2 doubles

Box Score WINTER PARK, Fla. – Daniella Obando and Alexandra Yeardley secured a win in doubles for the No. 24 Nova Southeastern women's tennis team, yet No. 9 Academy of Art proved to be too much, as the Sharks fell by a score of 8-1 at the Bert Martin Tennis Complex in Winter Park, Fla.

DOUBLES
  • The ninth-ranked Urban Knights climbed in front 2-0 following a default at No. 3 and a win at No. 1.
  • Obando and Yeardley prevented the sweep, though, and narrowed the margin to 2-1 with a back-and-forth, 8-6 victory over Monika Stanikova and Paula Alacantara.
 SINGLES
  • Academy of Art increased its lead to 4-1 following defaults at No. 5 and No. 6.
  • The Urban Knights would not surrender another match point as they claimed all four singles matches for a final score of 8-1.
