HOW IT HAPPENED:
Dylan Harris led off the game with a single and took second on the first pitch of Nick Gallo's at-bat. Gallo would see one more pitch before singling to left, driving in Harris for the first run of the ballgame.

The NSU offense would plate three more runs in the third inning, as Gallo drove in his second run of the night and Christian Demby singled to left field to score Gallo and Jake Anchia. The Sharks would increase their lead to 7-0 in the fourth inning when Jeffrey Cyr singled home Ian Acevedo and Jake Anchia launched a no-doubter of a two-run home run over the portable beyond the left field wall.

In the meantime, Brady Acker was piecing together another outstanding start, as he finished the night with five innings pitched and two earned runs en route to his six win of the year.

The bats continued to bury Barry in the fifth inning, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Cyr, a RBI free pass from Gallo, and a RBI single from Anchia.

With the score 12-2, head coach Greg Brown turned the rock over to Jarret Krzyzanowski who went on to toss three innings, allowing just two runs.

STATS OF THE NIGHT:
  • Harris' two hits puts him three shy of the NSU single-season record.
  • Acker has gone eight straight starts where he has tossed five or more innings for the Sharks.
  • Jake Anchia took the lead in the Sunshine State Conference in the home run category with his 21st blast of the year.
