FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Across an 11-day stretch, the No. 8 Nova Southeastern Tennis team eased into competition mode with three exhibition matches against area junior colleges Broward College and ASA College, as the Sharks prepare for the start of the spring season in early February.
"It was great to play three scrimmages against two quality JUCO programs," third-year head coach
Doug Neagle said. "Both teams are strong and well-coached. We saw a lot of positives and some things we need to work on in practice. I like the way our ladies competed and supported each other. We are really focused on our next opponent each time out, and these three scrimmages have really helped us prepare for our first match this Sunday. We have a few more days to prepare these matches let us know where our emphasis should be.
