ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks finished its two-game road trip on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Eckerd to compete in a Sunshine State Conference matchup. NSU fought hard but fell in three sets to the Tritons (21-25, 24-26, 24-26).

HOW IT HAPPENED
· NSU got off to a slow start in the first set but fought back with two kills by Jordan Chessar to tie it at 17-17.
· Following that, the Sharks kept battling but eventually fell in the opening set 25-21.
· The Sharks kept it close in the second set, tying Eckerd 22-22 with a kill by Taylor Stockman assisted by Madison Cook.
· Despite its comeback efforts, NSU eventually dropped the second set 26-24.
· Nova Southeastern started strong in the third set, getting six straight points from kills by Olivia Aniol, Kate Mihacevich and Madison Cook.
· The Sharks led 24-21, but the Tritons stormed back to win the final set 26-24, also ending the match.

Nova Southeastern returns home to take on Palm Beach Atlantic in an SSC matchup on Tue., Oct. 25 at the Rick Case Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
