Another successful weekend is in the books for Nova Southeastern Athletics. The Sharks' women's swimming team took home their second consecutive (and sixth overall) Sunshine State Conference Championship title, while the men's side, following a hard-fought weekend, finished second overall in the meet. The tenth-ranked Nova Southeastern Baseball team, following a sweep over Felician to match the best start (9-0) in program history, now turns their attention to Sunshine State Conference action. NSU's No. 4 women's tennis program earned two road SSC wins, including No. 10 Lynn. Both basketball squads knocked off Rollins, honoring their 2021-22 senior classes prior to the contests, with Head Coach LeAnn Freeland-Curry earning her 200th career win at NSU on the women's side and the extending their undefeated season to 23-0 overall, 18-0 in SSC play, and 15-0 at the Rick Case Arena. Last but not least, the Track programs began their season with a strong performance at Ansin Sports Complex, receiving wins from Christina Adams, Ivanova Yanes, and Aaron Weimer.
